Poolewe Oktoberfest 2026
Join us for a unique Highland celebration of great beer, live entertainment and community spirit at the inaugural Poolewe Oktoberfest.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Wester Ross, this three-day festival brings together outstanding live entertainment, quality food and one of the Highlands' finest selections of craft and cask beer.

Friday Evening
Live music and entertainment from 7:00pm.
Saturday Evening
Our headline music event featuring acclaimed artists and entertainers from across the UK.
Sunday Afternoon
Comedy and magic featuring award-winning performers. This will be followed by a good Highland Ceilidh with a local Ceilidh band.
The Festival Experience
The festival site will be open throughout the day, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere, food, drink and hospitality of Poolewe.
The Main Hall will operate as an open seating area until 6:00pm each day, providing a comfortable space to relax, meet friends and enjoy the festival.
From 6:00pm, the Main Hall will be prepared for the evening's ticketed performances.
The Beer Hall
🍺 The Oktoberfest Beer Hall will feature a wide selection of cask ales, craft beers, lagers, ciders and other refreshments from local and regional producers.
Please note: Access to the Beer Hall is unticketed and restricted to over-18s only. Admission is subject to venue capacity and licensing requirements.
Food & Drink
🍔 A selection of street food vendors will be serving food throughout the festival from outdoor catering units adjacent to the venue.
🍻 The Ewebrew Tap House, located next to the Village Hall, will also be open throughout the festival, offering visitors another opportunity to enjoy locally brewed beer and Highland hospitality.

Poolewe Oktoberfest is a community-led event raising funds for the restoration and long-term future of Poolewe Village Hall.
Tickets are required only for the live performances. All ticket profits will be donated to support Poolewe Village Hall and help secure its future as a vital community asset.

Henry Webb-Jenkins is a North London singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist bringing a fresh British perspective to country and Americana. Drawing inspiration from 1970s country rock, classic British bands and the great country artists of the 1990s, his music combines traditional songwriting with an alternative edge. Honest, melodic and rooted in live performance, his songs explore love, heartbreak and good times with an authentic, unpolished warmth.

Darwin and The Finches are a Blackpool-born acoustic folk duo comprising Michael Shanagher on guitar and vocals and Liam Pemberton on drums, percussion and backing vocals. Blending heartfelt storytelling, rich harmonies and driving acoustic rhythms, their music moves effortlessly between reflective ballads and powerful, anthemic songs. Influenced by artists including Neil Young and Nick Cave, the duo have built a growing reputation for intimate, emotionally charged live performances.
Gimme Some Lovin’ are a Scotland-based 11-piece powerhouse show band celebrating the iconic music and high-energy performances of The Blues Brothers. Combining soulful vocals, a driving rhythm section and the full force of a live brass-led band, they deliver an exhilarating mix of soul, blues and rhythm-and-blues classics designed to fill the dance floor.

Chris Forbes is a multi-award-winning Scottish comedian, actor and writer, best known for playing PC Charlie McIntosh in the BBC comedy series Scot Squad. A highly regarded live performer, he has entertained audiences around the world and supported Kevin Bridges on tour. His warm, quick-witted comedy combines sharp observations, engaging storytelling and an unmistakably Scottish sense of humour.
Chris Dinwoodie is a five-time Scottish Magic Champion and member of the prestigious Magic Circle. Combining astonishing sleight of hand and mind reading with quick-witted Glasgow humour, Chris creates an entertaining, highly interactive show in which comedy and magic come together with wonderfully unpredictable results.
Graham Mackie is a highly experienced Scottish stand-up comedian and four-time finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition. A seasoned performer and compère, he is known for his warm, instantly likeable stage presence, sharp observational humour and quick-fire ability to improvise with an audience.
